This is very great old antique Venetian 6-Layer Chevron glass trade bead. The chevron or star bead is from the family of drawn beads, called "rosetta" in Italian. It was used in African trade in the mid 1800's. These beads are in absolutely good condition. This bead is beautiful with 12 point star mold.
